PRIORITY ATHLETE PROGRAM

Nor Med Therapies recognizes that young athletes are striving to achieve their highest level of performance in their sport, and an injury can be devastating. We have been providing sport injury rehabilitation to Sherwood Park and Strathcona County residents for 29 years.  Nor Med Therapies developed the highly successful Priority Athlete Program to meet the needs of competitors of all ages and levels of sport, from recreational level to elite competition.  This program is available to all levels of sport performance and competition. In addition to traditional team sports, the Priority Athlete Program is available also to club activities such as dance, gymnastics, and individual sports.

We believe in:

Ø injury prevention through education for all athletes.

Ø early intervention when an injury does occur.

Ø prompt assessment and accurate diagnosis.

Ø appropriate, professional treatment based on the most current sport medicine research, and use of the most current electrotherapy and exercise equipment.

Ø ongoing communication with coaching and training staff to ensure the quickest, safest return to practice and competition.

There is no cost to be included in the Priority Athlete Program.  Members of the program are not obligated to receive treatment at Nor Med Therapies, however if they choose to do so, they are eligible for many benefits:

Priority Athlete Privileges:

Ø Guaranteed access to physical therapy / athletic therapy assessment and treatment within 48 business hours of request.

Ø Priority Athlete rates for Physical Therapy / Athletic Therapy assessment ($88.00 per assessment instead of $98.00) and treatment ($50.00 per treatment instead of $55.00).

Ø Ongoing progress reports to the team coaching/training staff as the player returns to practice and competition (with written permission).

Ø 10% discount on all massage therapy services.
